Fretwell Lake is a tiny (24 acre) lake located 341km N of La Loche and 599km N of Meadow Lake (City).

Fretwell Lake was named after John Arthur Fretwell on 1957-07-04 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
