Tyrell Lake Recreation Site is 11km N and Tyrrell Lake Recreation Site is 11km N of FitzGerald Lake.
FitzGerald Lake was named after Terence Cunliffe FitzGerald on 1952-02-06 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
