Porcupine Hills Provincial Park
Porcupine Hills Provincial Park is Saskatchewan's newest provincial park. It was created in 2018 by combining several existing Provincial Recreation Sites as well as Saginas Lake from Hudson Bay Regional Park.
The park is in a remote area of the province with very limit cell reception and few services. The park is split into two blocks an East and West block with quite a distance between them.
Many of the lakes have boat launches and are popular fishing destinations. There are also several campgrounds and a lodge within the park. McBride Lake has the only private campground in the park and is worth a visit! There are provincial campgrounds at Parr Hill Lake, Townsend Lake, Smallfish Lake, and Isbister Lake. Moose Range Lodge is at Townsend Lake and has rental cabins and other services.
