Townsend Lake

Townsend Lake is a small (428 acre) stocked lake located 59km SE of Hudson Bay and 150km NNE of Yorkton. It was last stocked in 2017 with 99,980 Walleye Fry.

The lake is within Porcupine Hills Provincial Park.

Townsend Lake was named after Robert Wilfred Ernest Townsend on 1951-10-04 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
