Miko Lake

Miko Lake is a small fishing and recreational lake located 14km N of the Village of Chitek Lake and 54km ESE of Meadow Lake.

This lake is a quiet, pretty lake with very nice clear water.

The lake is entirely within the Pelican Lake 191C Reserve). The Pelican Lake band has a boat launch and a small campground at the lake. A larger band run campground is just south at Lac Eauclaire.

There are Walleye, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch in Miko Lake.

Miko Lake was named after Joseph Miko on 1956-10-04 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program.

This lake has been personally visited by myself, Matthew Siemens.

Pretty sandy lake. It's on the reserve, and they allow camping according to a sign on the outhouse. There is a primitive launch, outhouse, and picnic table at the lake.
