Anglin Lake

Anglin Lake is a large (3,334 acre) top-rated recreational lake located 23km NNW of Christopher Lake (Village).

The far west part of the lake is within Prince Albert National Park with the rest of the lake in Great Blue Heron Provincial Park.

There are several campgrounds, three boat launches, several cabin developments, and many kilometres of hiking/biking/cross-country ski trails at the lake. The many amenities, location and natural beauty of the lake make this a popular destination.

The lake is accessible from Highway 953 and was last stocked in 2023 with 300,000 Walleye Fry.

This lake has been personally visited by myself, Matthew Siemens.

I basically grew up at the lake. Ive spent uncountable amount of hours and days exploring all this lake has to offer. kinda view my self as a subject location expert on this lake. Sad as a huge portion of the lake is old growth and starting to fall in the wind... in a decade or two it will be stunning again

Put the canoes in at the bridge and paddled up to Anderson Point Campground for a swim before heading back. It was a beautiful day and a great paddle. Since Anglin is split up into several smaller lakes it makes it a nice lake to paddle.
