Close Lake is a massive (11632 acre) lake located 284km NNE of Pinehouse and 473km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).
Close Lake was named after Keith Carlyle Close on 1947-01-07 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
