The lake is in the southern fishing zone. Northern Pike and Walleye can be found in Arm Lake. It was last stocked in 2022 with 150,000 Walleye Fry.

Craik and District Regional Park is adjacent to the reservoir. Arm Lake is partially within Craik No. 222 (Rural Municipality) and partially within Arm River No. 252 (Rural Municipality).
