There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Besnard Lake Recreation Site is 20km NNW of Andrew Lake.
Andrew Lake was named after Walter Harold Andrew on 1965-11-11 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
