Fall Fishing For Cutthroat
Fall fishing for Cutthroat trout at the Sumas River. If you are lucky, and have good timing, this spot will produce beautiful Cutthroat trout. Spring and Fall are your best times. We got on a school of cutties and had a load of fun. We had a guy who wanted the trout but unfortunately it is illegal and if people don't know, the river is toxic. There are signs pointing out this fact. We used medium and ultralight action rods. We used bottom rigs with worms. We used the Shakespeare ultralight combo and the Ugly Stick medium action. This spot produces a multitude of species. Cutthroat trout, Rainbow trout, Steelhead, Large mouth Bass, Pumpkinseed Sunfish, Northern Pike minnow, Peamouth Chub, Sculpin, Bullhead catfish, and Sturgeon. This spot is ideal for the Sport Fisherman, who likes to catch and release. Like, Subscribe And Share.
