Heads up!
Matt here, I'm going to be out of cell service till the 20th at the earliest.
Most of SaskLakes is automated and updates on its own, but some content/updates may be delayed, and I won't be able to respond to any emails/messages till I get back.
Thanks for your patience!
Fishing Canora Dam (Spoons & Jerk Baits)
In this video we go to Canora Dam, Saskatchewan. This day we decided to go specifically with Spoons and Jerkbaits. Both Pike and Walleye will bite on lures. We used medium action rods. 6' and 7' rods. We generally used spin casting gear only. Every once and a while we will use bait casters. We prefer mono over braid. Both have advantages, but for durability and stretch of mono makes it easier to work with. This location is only about a half hour from home. It's a beautiful spot, just 10 minutes east of Canora, Saskatchewan. Extremely fun place to fish, and is a regular stop for us. Two best ways to fish here is with Lures or bobbers and minnows.
