Fishing Bower Ponds Red Deer Alberta

In this video we fish Bower Ponds. On our way to the Fraser Valley, we stopped in Red Deer Alberta. We camped for couple of days. This was our second stop after Mitchell Pond. of which, we have a video, check it out. It was a beautiful day, other than the wind. The pond use to be a trout pond but at some point, The Red Deer River, which is right beside the pond, over flowed and Pike were able to get in. We saw no trout and caught only Pike. The fishing was slow but for city pond, not bad. Dean fished with Len Thompson spoon and Ben used a few different Lures. The pond, a beautiful spot, small enough walk all the way around it in 40 minutes or less. Lots of fishing access. We used medium action rods with 8-10lb test line. Dean has family near Red Deer, so that's what brought us here. Enjoyed our time here. Like & Subscribe and Share.
