The Bite Was Close To Home Not Lake Of The Prairies

In this video we fish Lake Of The Prairies and a place close to home. Five hours of fishing Lake Of The Prairie, with one lost fish, it left us defeated. We at this point we were looking for another fishing hole. With limited daylight and a long drive home, we decided the only spot left for us was Canora Dam. Using bobbers and minnows, got bite almost immediately. Soon we were pick up fish after fish. A far cry from how bad our trip had already been. We were using medium action rods with 8-10lb test. Canora Dam is about a half hour from home. 8 minutes out of Canora. Fishing, of course, is best at opening but it seems action here is pretty consistent up until Mid October. So far we've caught Pike, Walleye, Perch and White Suckers. Have heard rumor of Carp but have yet to prove it. The White Sand river is a favorite because of it's easy access to relatively good fishing for most of the season. A regular haunt for us and you'll see more of this place. Like & Subscribe and Share.
