Evening Fishing Open

Evening Fishing Open is our return trip to Canora Dam. As the evening went on we caught small Pike after small Pike. Then we started getting bites from Suckers on spoons(weird). As dark started coming on, we started getting a few Walleye. Some nice keepers but considerably slower than last year. We believe the bite will get better over the next week. End of spawn and hungry fish. Dean started out using his Ultra Light rod Shakespeare combo. He switched to his Rapala Phantom and started throwing spoons. Ben was using his Abu Garcia and he to started throwing spoons.
In the morning all we could get was hammer handle Pike on Minnows. In the evening nothing would bite the minnow. Like, Subscribe And Share.
