The amount of snowfall this winter has been "incredible" meaning... there's an outrageous amount of snow on the lakes around us. I've learned my lessons of not respecting the power of nature and got stuck in January, so in this video I decided to walk on only. We fished Katepwa Lake which is one of the 4 chain lakes in Fort Qu'Appelle. Weather was nice except for the periodic flurry but we had a good time. Lipless rattle bait caught a couple walleyes and the tungsten jig + soft plastic combo caught me a bunch of bait sized cisco.
