Every spring, walleye, pike and sucker goes shallow into the creeks and rivers to feed and spawn. That’s why the weekend following Saskatchewan opening day we decided to give the Qu’Appelle river a try. Not knowing the area well, we started with pickerel rig and floating bobbers with leeches. The highlight of the day was me catching a decent white sucker with jig and paddle tail swimbait IN THE MOUTH! However, I lost my favorite CR-BAITS custom painted jig later. Oh well, that’s fishing for ya, you win some you lose some. Hope you enjoy the video! Like, Comment & Subscribe! You can also follow my Instagram @TTang Outdoors for more fishing contents!!
