In my honest opinion, nothing beats a top water bite when it comes to fishing. It simply adds another layer of excitement to the bite. In this video, I took the proven river2sea whopper plopper to the test on my local reservoir and man the pike loved it so much. Right now, the whopper plopper is my favorite top water bait as it’s super effective to cover water, and fish can’t resist the plopping sound that the tail makes.
