Finding Massive Spring Carp and Pike in Saskatchewan Canada (New PB Caught)

It has been a long winter this year and the new 2022-23 fishing season is finally here in Saskatchewan! Of course as per tradition, I headed out fishing on the opening day. Joining me on the opening day was my buddy Tom, we tried a whole bunch of spots and fishing was very slow due to the water still being very cold causing fish to be very inactive. However, after many hours of casting at the last spot, Tom was able to connect with a 41.75 inch big mama post spawn pike to save the day. Although I did not have luck on opening day, I was able to redeem myself the very next weekend, catching my new personal best Common Carp which was over 20 lb.
