Shore Fishing for Big Northern Pikes

Another year, another fishing season opener! Let the 2025-26 fishing season begin!! Spring is one of the best times to catch fish from shore in Saskatchewan!!!

I have fished the Saskatchewan fishing opener every year for the past probably 10 years, and in recent years I've been going to one of my favourite spring Northern Pike spots: Buffalo Pound, which I like to call - Pike Heaven. Unlike most years, the water level at Pike Heaven is dramatically different this year. This video captures my experience there on May 5th, 2025. Check it out, hope you enjoy!!
