Makwa Lake: Hydrology And Kayak Fishing

This is a video about Makwa Lake, and the chain of lakes that comes with it. This takes place May 19-22. We will explore where the water comes from, and where it is going, as well as any of the animals that live amongst it. Another large component of this video is Kayak Fishing, and as we will find out, Makwa Lake is a great choice if big pike is what you're fishing for. Makwa Lake is dammed, and we will learn about the dam, and its history. Nearby is the town of Loon Lake, and there is a Provincial Park, with 3 campgrounds and over 100 sites. This weekend will be spent at Jumbo Beach campground. Overall Makwa Lake is a fascinating lake, and very much worth visiting.
