This wild 24-hour fishing adventure kicks off with something you don’t see every day — sturgeon launching out of the water like torpedoes, right in front of us. From that moment on, we knew this trip was going to be something special.

We fished from shore with pickerel rigs, explored hidden pockets from my little boat, and tackled everything the Saskatchewan wilderness threw at us — including a snake that came charging right at us. The fishing action never let up, and the surprises just kept coming.

And after a long, wild day chasing bites and dodging wildlife, we wrap it all up with a golden, crispy catch and cook right on the propane stove. Fresh fish, fried to perfection under the open sky — the perfect way to end a trip we won’t forget.
