A very foggy day in the Qu'appelle Valley yesterday. The last time we were in this area of the Valley was late fall; there was a very tall spruce tree that had been bare for years, and now it looks like it may have fallen. Every time we were in this area, I was always attracted to that tree; it was sad to see. In this area is Pearl Creek, a small watercourse that flows into the Qu'Appelle River within the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley, specifically located near Highway 47 north of Melville, Saskatchewan. The Qu'Appelle River is a 430 km long river system that runs east across southern Saskatchewan, originating from Lake Diefenbaker and joining the Assiniboine River.
