Sparling Lake is a very small (97 acre) lake located 429km NE of La Loche and 630km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).
Sparling Lake was named after Lawson Frederick Sparling on 1958-07-03 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
