Sommerfeld Lake is a small (265 acre) lake located 116km NE of Pinehouse and 311km NE of Meadow Lake (City).
Sommerfeld Lake was named after Samuel Whitney Sommerfeld on 1960-08-04 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
