Simpson Lake is a small (247 acre) lake located 360km NNE of La Loche and 598km N of Meadow Lake (City).
Simpson Lake was named after Alexander James Simpson on 1952-03-06 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
