Shorten Lake is a small (210 acre) lake located 380km NNE of La Loche and 635km N of Meadow Lake (City).
Shorten Lake was named after Albert George Shorten on 1954-05-06 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
