Schmidt Lake is a medium sized (733 acre) lake located 441km N of Sandy Bay and 654km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).

Schmidt Lake was named after John Schmidt on 2002-10-29 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
