Sackney Lake is a small (146 acre) lake located 97km NNE of La Ronge and 304km NE of Meadow Lake (City).

Sackney Lake was named after Joseph Raymond Sackney on 1959-03-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
