Rowan Lake is a medium sized (1383 acre) lake located 199km NE of La Loche and 396km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).

Rowan Lake was named after Thomas Stanley Rowan on 1958-04-03 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
