Ries Lake is a small (328 acre) lake located 142km NE of La Loche and 372km N of Meadow Lake (City).
Ries Lake was named after Emil Phillip Ries on 1964-02-27 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
