Peterson Lake is a small (297 acre) lake located 269km NE of La Loche and 492km N of Meadow Lake (City).

Peterson Lake was named after Lloyd Harvey Peterson on 2003-10-07 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
