Pekakumew Lakes is a medium sized (1643 acre) lake located 20km NW of Debden and 102km ESE of Meadow Lake (City). The lake is partially within Big River 118 (Reserve).
The lake was officially named on 1969-10-24. The name Pekakumew Lakes is of Cree origin.
