Ooms Lake is a medium sized (1871 acre) lake located 313km N of Sandy Bay and 597km NE of Meadow Lake (City).
Ooms Lake was named after Ferdinand Francis Louie Ooms on 1952-12-11 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
