Bakers Narrows Provincial Park is 14km W, Amisk Lake Recreation Site is 15km ENE, Meridian Creek Recreation Site is 22km NE and Neso Lake Provincial Park is 21km W of Mcrobbie Lake.
Mcrobbie Lake was named after William McRobbie on 1958-09-04 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
