McMurdo Lake is a small (260 acre) lake located 460km N of Sandy Bay and 687km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).

McMurdo Lake was named after William E McMurdo on 2004-11-02 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
