McMurchy Lake is a medium sized (789 acre) lake located 66km NE of Buffalo Narrows and 247km N of Meadow Lake (City).

McMurchy Lake was named after William Archibald McMurchy on 1958-05-01 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
