McDonald Lake is a medium sized (831 acre) lake located 132km NNE of La Ronge and 337km NE of Meadow Lake (City).

McDonald Lake was named after Justin Angus McDonald on 1968-01-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
