McCorkle Lake is a medium sized (715 acre) lake located 139km ENE of La Loche and 331km N of Meadow Lake (City).

McCorkle Lake was named after Donald Frederick McCorkle on 1958-04-03 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
