Johnstone Lake is a small (382 acre) lake located 277km NNE of La Loche and 503km N of Meadow Lake (City).

Johnstone Lake was named after Erle Ernest Edward Johnstone on 2003-10-07 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
