Hetherington Lake is a medium sized (1680 acre) lake located 150km NNW of Sandy Bay and 427km NNE of Prince Albert.

Hetherington Lake was named after George Donald Frederick Hetherington on 1958-06-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
