Hawes Lake is a small (325 acre) lake located 34km E of Buffalo Narrows and 191km N of Meadow Lake (City).
Hawes Lake was named after Frederick Charles Hawes on 1957-09-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
