Fanson Lake is a large (4775 acre) lake located 426km N of Sandy Bay and 640km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).
Fanson Lake was named after Gordon William Neil Fanson on 1953-12-03 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
