McDonald Lake is a medium sized (843 acre) lake located 197km NNE of Pinehouse and 386km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).

McDonald Lake was named after Martin John McDonald on 1964-02-27 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
