Baxter Lake is a small (168 acre) lake located 40km NNE of Big River and 102km E of Meadow Lake (City).
Baxter Lake was named after Arie Gordon Baxter on 1951-04-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
