Coulter Lake is a medium sized (1020 acre) lake located 127km NW of Sandy Bay and 384km NNE of Prince Albert.
Coulter Lake was named after Harvey Alfred Coulter on 1958-06-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
