Cotter Lake is a medium sized (2255 acre) lake located 18km E of Pinehouse and 207km NE of Meadow Lake (City).
Cotter Lake was named after David Grenfell Cotter on 1951-06-07 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
