Chartier Lake is a small (184 acre) lake located 45km NNW of Hudson Bay and 135km ENE of Melfort.
Chartier Lake was named after Wellwood Edmond Chartier on 1952-01-17 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
