Chante Lake
Chante Lake is a small residential/recreational lake located 47km SW of Prince Albert. There is a residential development along the north shore of the lake with around 30 cabins.
It's not easy to find information about this lake, so if you have any info to add or things I'm missing please let me know!
There is no real public access to the lake. Technically it looks like there is a public reserve in front of the cabin development, but I couldn't see any access, and the yards have been developed right to the water. So if you want to explore the lake, your best bet might be making friends with someone living there!
My understanding is that in the past the lake was more of a seasonal slough/wetland but work was done and it is now a permanent year-round lake. Chante Lake isn't actually registered as a lake anywhere that I've seen and the land under it is still part of the quarters around it.
A boat launch is at the end of the road past the cabins.
According to the pamphlet produced by the developer of the cabin lots the lake was stocked with Rainbow Trout quite a few years ago. I can't find any recent reports about fish in the lake today.

Boat Launch
I haven't put a boat in at this launch, and it doesn't look that impressive. There are some fairly big boat lifts on the lake though so people must be using it for some decent-sized boats.
