Brettell Lake is a medium sized (728 acre) lake located 427km N of Sandy Bay and 651km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).

Brettell Lake was named after Aubrey Leonard Edward Brettell on 1958-06-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
