Buffalo Pound Trout Pond
Buffalo Pound Trout Pond is a stocked trout pond in [Buffalo Pound Provincial Park](/buffalo-pound-lake/#buffalo-pound-provincial-park) at Buffalo Pound Lake.
This is a nice, sheltered area to do some fishing or have a picnic especially if the weather isn't so nice on the big lake.
The pond is 30km N of Moose Jaw with the access road starting at the park office.
The pond is stocked yearly with Rainbow Trout and has a fishing dock, outhouses, and a nice picnic/day-use area. The pond has been stocked with other species of trout in the past, including Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Tiger Trout, and Splake Trout but not for quite a few years. **Please note there is a custom limit for stocked trout on the pond**
